Our mission is to connect Budget Coaches with people who are ready to take control of their finances. The stronger the connection, the more the magic happens. That's why we are thrilled to announce that coaches and users can now message each other securely, directly inside our platform.

Why Messaging?

Budgeting is hard. Those who are just getting started often face confusion, setbacks, and waning motivation. Too often users give up and miss out on all the benefits that await them past the learning curve.

Our solution is to pair every single user with a real life coach from the start. As a user, having someone to connect with helps immensely. As a coach, taking the time to talk to your users individually builds stronger bonds that lead to lasting relationships.

How Does It Work?

‍

The "Messaging Center'' allows each coach to reach out proactively to their users through individualized messages. Each coach controls their preference on when they first become available to their users. When choosing a coach in our directory, look for a coach that fits your messaging preference.

You can securely send files and images back and forth in addition to text and reactions. There are all the modern features you'd expect like read receipts, gifs, and more. If you aren't online you'll be notified of unread messages via email. As a coach you can set your expectations for response times so users are informed about what they can expect.

Passive and Active Communication Seamlessly Integrated

Part of our mission is to make budget coaching more accessible and cost effective. In order to achieve this each coach on our platform has created a library of unique conversations the user is able to complete on their own time. The conversations happen directly in the budget and help users with common frustrations such as setup, reconciliation, category curation, and more.

Users love completing these virtual conversations at their own pace. Coaches love that they can monetize their knowledge and audiences in a passive way.

We are very excited to share that the interactions from these conversations will now show in the message history. This allows coaches to view the progress of their users in real time, or get up to speed before a video call. This blend of passive and active interactions will be the core of how we continue to build a more accessible industry.

Do I Have To Share Personal Details?

‍

Neither the user nor the coach will need to share their personal email or phone number in order to message each other securely on our platform. By default, only a user's first name and last initial are shared with their coach.
