When I transitioned away from teaching to full time parenting in 2011, I discovered a passion for budgeting. My interest was so strong that I found myself spending time answering questions on social media, which ultimately led to becoming a certified budget coach.
My goal is to integrate budgeting as a normal part of life, both for myself and my clients. I found that having a system to manage finances freed up my brain space for important things, like knitting and board games. As a family of five with a moderate income it’s especially important that we align our money with our values. This allows us to spend intentionally to meet our needs as well as experience joy.
Everyone’s personality is reflected in how we spend our money. I love to hear about what’s important to people and their challenges. In many cases what our money is being spent on isn’t what we value most. But instead it is determined by habits, circumstances and life. I’d love to help you focus more money towards what brings you joy.
Some fine print about our fine coaches.
